Variable Density Sound Orchestra: Guitarist Garrison Fewell founded the VDSO in 2008 and released two recordings on the Creative Nation Music label. As the name implies, the VDSO is not a fixed group, but an actively changing and growing collective of improvising musicians and composers from around the world. With varied nationalities, ethnic and gender backgrounds, the VDSO conducts improvisational dialogues that transcend boundaries and promote cultural diversity in creative music.
